Abnormal Psychology and Life A Dimensional Approach 3rd Edition
Abnormal Psychology and Life A Dimensional Approach 3rd Edition – eBook PDF
Chris Kearney and Tim Trull’s Abnormal Psychology And Life A Dimensional Approach 3rd Edition (PDF) offers college students a contemporary, concise, science-based view of psychopathology that focuses on the individual first. Through consistent pedagogy featuring clinical cases and real first-person narratives, the text shows our understanding that abnormal behavior can be viewed along a continuum. By highlighting this broadly accepted dimensional view — which places the behavior of an individual at the leading position of the clinical definition, assessment, and treatment — the textbook’s goal is to fortify personal relevance for students and motivate them to become intelligent consumers of mental health information. The ebook also gives students a comprehensive understanding of the features and epidemiologies, risk factors and prevention, evaluation and treatment, and long-term prognosis and associated stigma of mental disorders.
